The Proposed Budget and MLF Recommendations

In the FY 2012 proposed budget, the City Manager has incorporated some of the recommendations that Move Lowell Forward included in the paper entitled "Renewed Economic Growth to Stabilize City Finances".

Mar 10 2011: MLF Thanks the Greater Lowell Tech Committee for Live Stream Vote

Move Lowell Forward PAC would like to thank the Greater Lowell Technical High School Committee for their unanimous vote to begin live streaming their meetings beginning in April. This is a monumental step towards involving the public of the four towns which are served by GLTHS (Dracut, Dunstable, Lowell, and Tyngsboro). We applaud the effort for more transparency in local government, and look forward to viewing the new stream live - watch for the link to the stream at http://www.gltech.org/. The next GLTHS committee meeting is on April 7th.

Move Lowell Forward PAC has released a document entitled Considerations for a City Manager Contract for the City Of Lowell, MA. The document is a set of ideas based around the PAC's stated mission, on ways a City Manager contact might incorporate goals and measurements in the evaluations that could help determine a performance-based contract with the City Manager.
